Join OSU and WSU Extension an exciting workshop on mechanical cultivation for vegetable weed management. Workshops will be offered in Puyallup, WA and Aurora, OR. The event will include an array of demonstrations and speakers with contributions from local farmers, equipment representatives, and Extension specialists.

PROGRAM FEATURES:
- Seed and seedling-focused non-chemical weed management strategies
- Live demos of tractor-powered and walk-behind cultivation equipment in transplanted and direct-seeded crops (see details below)
- Demos comparing organic herbicides and steaming/flaming
- Local farmer panel sharing their cultivation experience
- Vendor booths with knowledgeable equipment suppliers, and opportunity for networking
- Catered lunch provided

- Sutton Ag hand steer or camera guided toolbar with finger weeders and more
- Tilmor brand new cultivating tractor with toolbar setups
Walk-behind equipment:
