Resources for Non-Profit /MDOs Serving Microbusinesses

April 14, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Since the COVID 19 crisis, many Microenterprise Development Organizations (MDOs) and others have been required to increase their workload with dwindling resources, pivot their operations from remote settings, deliver their services entirely online, learn and transfer changing federal/state information rapidly to more business owners than ever before, many of whom are marginalized and in crisis.

Our speakers on Tuesday will present information about CARES Act, CDBG and other funding sources that support: 1) Nonprofit / Microenterprise Development Organizations; and, 2)  the independent contractors, businesses with 5 or fewer employees, rural businesses and entrepreneurs from marginalized communities, including people with disabilities, people of color, Spanish (other language) speakers, veterans, etc. they serve throughout WA to manage this crisis.
