Assessing Resilience in Washington Agriculture: Impacts of COVID-19 on Farms and Ranches

Through interviews and surveys of farmers, ranchers, agricultural service providers, and other stakeholders, the project team is seeking to better-understand the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on farms and ranches in Washington State, and the capacity of farm businesses to adapt to the disruption.

Key to understanding these dynamics is the online WA Farm COVID-19 Survey that examines the ways in which COVID-19 has impacted farmers and ranchers of all types and sizes throughout Washington. The survey is currently open, and will remain open until December 31, 2020. All farm and ranch owners/operators in Washington State who are over the age of 18 are welcome and encouraged to share their experiences by participating in the survey.
