5/9: LIVE CONVO – flour hour, understanding grain & regional resources

May 9, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

understanding grain & regional resources
WHEN: The Flour Hour will be Saturday, May 9th from 1-2pm PST on Zoom.

WHAT & WHERE: This tri-state event is a collaboration of the California Grain Campaign (CA), PDX Whole Grain Bakers Guild (OR) and Cascadia Grains (WA).

WHY: Each group will be addressing topics of grains and flours, and highlighting regional resources for grains in a fun, virtual community setting. One of the goals of these presentations is to identify grain lexicon that unites the many regional groups working in tandem.

HOW: There will be separate calls for California, Oregon, and Washington. So as you fill out the form, please select the state’s Flour Hour you would like to join. If you’re interested in more than one Flour Hour, don’t fret! We’ll have recordings of each Flour Hour to send out.

Once you fill out the form, we will send you a zoom link to the Flour Hour you have selected to join.

Cascadia Grains’ (WA) flour hour will feature the voices of Mel Darbyshire (Grand Central Baking), Juli Hammond and Kathrine Kehrli (Seattle Culinary Academy).
