    I have some freeze-dried preserved foods that is producing less than 10 ppm of hydrogen sulfide gas. The food doesn’t show any signs of aging, no mold or fungus. The food smells and looks fine. Is the food still safe to eat once the gas is removed? What happens to the food that is left over from the production of H2S?
